GameStop PS5 restock is sold out – where to find inventory next

Update: GameStop is now sold in bundles. Be sure to follow our PS5 restock guide for updates when the console releases next.

A new round of PS5 restocks just landed on GameStop. It will be the retailer’s first online restock of 2022 and will offer the chance to score a next-gen PlayStation ahead of the weekend.

GameStop has this PS5 bundle in stock for $743 in stock as of 11 a.m. ET. The bundle includes Call of Duty Vanguard, an additional DualSense controller, a one-year PlayStation Plus subscription, and a $50 GameStop gift card.

Replenishment Tracking Matt Swider of The Shortcut was the first to announce the restock and bundle available today. This drop is exclusively for PowerUp Rewards Pro members.

PS5 restock at GameStop (sold out)

GameStop has been locking in its drops behind its premium membership program since last summer, and there’s no indication that this practice will end any time soon. Pro membership costs $15 per year, which might be a small price to pay if it helps you secure a PS5.

It’s also worth noting that GameStop is still putting its allocation of the PS5 into bundles. According to Swider, the bundle offered in this drop will cost $743 and will offer the disc console alongside an additional DualSense controller, Call of Duty Vanguard, 12 months of PlayStation Plus, and a GameStop gift card. GameStop still charges the combined retail price of items in its bundles, so at least you won’t be cheated.

If you don’t want to sign up for PowerUp Reward Pro to score a PS5, or just want the console alone without any extras, be sure to bookmark our PS5 replenishment hub. This comprehensive guide is updated daily with the latest stock information from all major retailers.

How to Become a PowerUp Rewards Pro Member

In early June, GameStop announced that it was changing the way it handles console restocks. It will give the first dibs to its PowerUp Rewards Pro members. Although there is a free tier, only Pro members will have early access to restocks. Membership starts at $14.99 per year and includes perks like Game Informer subscription, $5 reward coupons per month (total $60/year), 10% extra trade credit on games/ accessories and a $5 welcome certificate. If you register today, you will have access to future restocks.

GameStop Restock – Tips & Tricks

It might be obvious, but you’ll want to have a GameStop account and be logged into your account when the restocking begins. If you click the “add to cart” button and nothing happens, try refreshing the page.

You can also clear your browser cookies and try to open the page through an incognito web browser. You may be asked to solve a captcha before adding the console to your cart. We don’t yet know if this restock will be open to the general public after the early access window.

What to do if you miss

As with previous GameStop PS5 restock events, these units will sell out quickly. So if you missed, don’t worry. There will be more restocking events in the future. Also, be sure to follow our restock coverage for up-to-the-minute information on the latest restocks. In the meantime, you can browse other retailers’ pages to see if they’ve quietly added new inventory.
