CONNECTIONSis
visually designed to portray connecting and disconnecting habits
in a subtle yet distinctive and appealing manner that does not
distract from the games underlying goal to be the
best person you can be.
The
Game Box reflects the global nature of personal connections
and the pressures that accompany connective actions and habits.
Isobars indicate the constantly changing pressures intrinsically
incorporated in connective behavior and interaction. The Mercator
projection map, coupled with the superposition of CONNECTIONS,
implies a level playing field.

The
Game Board is clean in design, basic in color scheme and carries
in the background the global geographic elements from the box
cover. It is visually constructed to enable players to focus
on the games intent instead of its design.

Movable
elements of CONNECTIONS cards and player pieces
are eclectic in a design that cuts a broad swath across
human interaction and history. Playing cards feature medieval
life scenes that clearly portray positive (negotiating) connecting
habits or negative (aggressive) behavior. These are an Old World
element reflecting external elements over which people have
little control.
The
player pieces, dense rubber automobiles, meanwhile, are contemporary
and reflect the New World facet whereby people are in more control
of their lives. The automobiles portray a players ability
in life to use connecting habits to select destinations and
to control methods of reaching goals by propelling and steering:
You can choose your path, you can steer your course, you can
select your speed, all through the power of CONNECTIONS.
